Ted’s Trash Service, Inc. is a family owned operation that has been serving the Kansas City Metro Area since 1960.

Ted’s Trash Service started business in 1960. Ted Ferrell was working the night shift at Leed’s GM plant, when an acquaintance decided to sell his trash route consisting of one hundred customers. Ted and his wife, Brenda, decided to purchase the route and the rest is history.

As a growing business, Ted’s Trash Service became incorporated in 1972. Soon after, in 1979, their son, Teddy, was responsible for continued growth of the company by initiating the roll-off construction container service and the front load container service. Lisa, his wife, worked part time, while raising two children, Heather Jo and Dusty.

Time flies when you’re running a family business…

Today, Ted and Brenda are retired and so deserving for all their years of hard work and dedication. Teddy and Lisa are carrying on that tradition, along with their son, Dusty, who is quickly following in his Grandpa’s and Dad’s footsteps!

Ted’s Refund Policy

All refunds from services that have been paid for are subject for approval.  Any work performed on any paid service will be subject to fuel and labor costs as well as material costs.  To ensure a full refund or avoid any charges, please call our office (816-252-1594)  a day before any service or job is to be completed.  If you are unsatisfied with any services performed, please call our office so that we may resolve the issue.
