***Attention Residential Customers***

Here at Ted’s Trash Service, we are undertaking the huge process of changing and consolidating our residential routes to increase route efficiency, reduce road wear, and streamline our routes to better serve our community. Unfortunately, for this change to take place, we will not be able to take on any new residential customers for a four-week period. This four-week period will occur between MAY 24TH, 2021 THOUGH JUNE 18TH, 2021. Our current customers will still be serviced during this time, we just will not be able to accept any new customers for this short period of time.

To our current residential customers:

Your current pick-up day may be changing. 59% of our current residential customers will be getting notified that their pick-up day is changing, all services trash, recycling, and yard-waste will still be picked up on the same day of your day change. If your pick-up day will change with these route changes, you will be receiving a notice mailer and/or an e-mail (if you have an e-mail on file with us) notifying you of your new pick-up day. Expect these notifications one to two weeks before the changes are made, around the first week of June. The NEW route schedule will begin the week of JUNE 14th through JUNE 18th.  If you do not receive a mailer and/or an e-mail; you will not be affected by this route change and your pick-up day will remain the same. However, please review the maps that are posted below of our new route day schedules to ensure you are aware of any changes.

To our RAYTOWN customers: all Raytown customers will be picked up on Mondays beginning June 14th, 2021.

If you live EAST of 291 highway: your pick-up day will be on Fridays beginning the week of June 14th, 2021.

All other customers: Find the location of your home on one of the maps, and this will show you what your pick-up day will be starting the week of June 14th, 2021. 

We are trying to make this transition as smooth as possible, so please help us reduce the number of calls by reading the mailer and/or e-mail and checking our website for any information.  We will post all updates on our Facebook page and e-mail.

Residential  – Weekly Household Curbside Pickup – Ext 2
Roll-Off  –  10, 20, 30, 40 Yard Container rentals – Ext 3
Commercial – Weekly Business Pickup – Ext 4

Open Monday-Friday 7am to 3pm ( The Recycling drop-off facility closes at 2 pm on Friday)


Holiday Schedule Memorial Day week 2021 
Monday 5/31/2021 We will be closed all scheduled pickup days will be delayed one day.
Tuesday 6/1/2021 Will be Monday’s normal scheduled pickup
Wednesday 6/2/2021 Will be Tuesday’s normal scheduled pickup 
                          Thursday 6/3/2021 Will be Wednesday’s normal scheduled pickup                             Friday 6/4/2021 Will be Thursday’s normal scheduled pickup
                     Saturday 6/5/2021 Will be picking up Friday’s normal scheduled routes                 Please have your trash out the night before or by 6 am as we will have extra trucks on the roads to help get routes knocked out.

  •  Please have trash/recycling out the night before or by 6am on your scheduled pickup day.

  • Customer by Accepting Services, agrees that concrete, asphalt, grass/dirt surface, water, sewer, telephone lines, gas lines, underground lines, trees and other damage may occur due to the weight and operation of our trucks and containers in the process of operation and  that Ted’s Trash Service Inc. is not liable for such damage
  • COVID-19 Effective immediately! 3/23/2020
    There will be some changes in the residential trash services due to the public health emergency caused by the coronavirus-19 (COVID-19) outbreak.
     All residential trash must be bagged or contained in a cart or personal trash can
    Recycling is already contained in a cart so this will not change anything on the recycling side. Please just make sure containers are not overloaded.
     Ted’s Trash Service Inc. will not service any trash outside of the containers unless it is in plastic bags, or boxes as we are trying to limit exposure to our drivers during this time.  
     We appreciate your support and understanding as we know everyone is working hard to prevent exposure during this pandemic.
