Ted's Trash Service, Inc. is extremely proud of our recycling program. We've come up with a simple and effective way to help motivate more people to recycle! With your help, Ted's Trash is making it easier than ever to recycle and make a big impact on our environment! For your convenience, we will be offering two options for recycling.

As of 3/1/2023, we are not able to take on any more curbside recycling customers. We do, however, have a waiting list for customers wanting to sign up. Please call the office to be placed on the waiting list (816) 252-1594 ext. #2, or email us at residential@tedstrash.com The routes are currently full, and we do not have enough drivers/equipment at the moment to take on more curbside recycling. Please bring recyclables to our drop-off facility located at 10800 E Truman Rd Independence, MO 64052, Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Check our Facebook page to make sure the facility hasn't been closed due to the containers being filled to capacity. Thank you for supporting local!

• Curbside Recycling Cart (95 Gallon) – $15.00 per month
• Co-mingled recyclables accepted: plastics #1-7 bottles and containers, aluminum, tin, paper, magazines, books, and cardboard.
• No plastic bags, no shredded paper, no Styrofoam, no pizza boxes, no glass. Food waste containers must be cleaned out and free of debris.
• If the customer decides not to follow recycling guidelines, Ted's Trash Service, Inc. has the right to terminate the recycling service indefinitely and remove the 95-gallon recycling cart.
• Curbside pickup for recycling takes place every week on your normal pickup day. Place recyclables at the curb no later than 6:00 AM on your normal pickup day. One BIG thing to remember is that glass bottles are NOT accepted curbside! Please be aware of what is being recycled. Contamination is counterproductive to our goal to reduce waste.

• Ted's Trash Rehab Drop Off Facility – FREE TO THE PUBLIC
• 10800 E. Truman Road Independence, MO 64052
• Open Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, or until the containers fill up.

Please note that daily hours of operation may vary depending on how quickly the recycle bins fill up. The recycle center will close early if the recycle bins fill up before 2:00 PM.

Your recyclables must be placed in the proper labeled receptacles at the center.
