Weight Policy

  • 10, 20, 30, and 40-yard container rates include up to a 3ton (6,000lb) disposal limit. If the contents of the container exceed the maximum limit of 3 tons, there is an extra charge of $50 per ton.


  • We must be made aware at the time of placing an order if extremely heavy debris, such as concrete, brick, dirt, rock, sand, roofing, plaster, or stucco, will be loaded.


  • To avoid any overweight charges, we can help try to determine the correct container size during ordering.


Attention all roll-off customers!


We DO NOT allow you to use any crushing compacting service. There will be a $250 fine added for each load a crushing compacting company has mashed material in our equipment. Such services can potentially cause welds to split, weaken frame structure, bowed doors/side walls, and impact tears through the steel walls. The customer and/or the crushing company will be held liable for damages or full replacement of the container.

Rental Policy

All containers have an initial rental period for use that is included with each order. If a container exceeds the initial rental time period, an additional $20 per day or $100 per additional week is applied. To avoid any rental charges, please call to have the container removed on or before the end of the rental time.


We do not schedule the containers for removal that is the customer's responsibility. If you are concerned about exceeding the rental period and being charged, then we suggest a few things prior to ordering to take into consideration, such as stockpiling as much debris as possible or ordering the correct size for the job.

List of All Other Charges That Can Occur

Relocation

  • $150 - Moving a partially loaded container from one address to another
  • $100 – Onsite relocation, moving the current container onsite to a different position or location (same address)


Trip Charge

  • $75 fee is applied If a delivery or removal attempt is made and turned away or canceled on scheduled delivery day. This charge will also be applied If the container is blocked, inaccessible, overloaded, or unfit to haul.


Cancellation

  • $25 - Fee is only applied if notified of cancellation prior to the date of delivery. To avoid any charges do not schedule the delivery of the container unless you are 100% certain.


Hazardous Waste

  • We do not accept hazardous waste
  • Items such as A/C units, refrigerators, freezers, tires, batteries, waste oil, paint, and railroad ties will be charged or taken back to the customer.
FAQ's

Ted's Container Services Agreement

By accepting our services, the customer agrees that concrete, asphalt, grass/dirt surface, water, sewer, telephone lines, gas lines, underground lines, trees, and other damage may occur due to the weight and operation of our trucks and containers in the process of operation and that Ted's Trash Service Inc. is not liable for such damage. The customer acknowledges that it is in care, custody, and control of the Roll-Off container owned by Ted's Trash Service Inc. and accepts responsibility for the Roll-Off container and its contents. All 20, 30, and 40 containers are rented for two weeks or less. All 10 yd containers are rented for one week or less. Ted's Trash Service Inc. has the right to remove the container without customer authorization after the rental period has ended. However, we do require the customer to call in for pickup when finished to avoid rental fees. The customer agrees that Ted's Trash Service Inc. has the right to remove customer contents inside the container at the service location if the container service has not been paid in full. Roll-off containers must be at maximum level full. Any overload or overweight fines will be paid by the customer. When loading heavy materials such as dirt, rock, concrete, or roofing materials, we require 20 yd containers only to be loaded half full to meet D.O.T. weight requirements. The customer agrees to return the equipment in as good of a condition as received. The customer agrees not to dispose of hazardous waste, 55-gallon drums, appliances, tires, or other restricted materials in the containers and further agrees to hold Ted's Trash Service Inc. harmless from any damage, fines, or responsibility for such materials.


Equipment Responsibility: The renter is responsible for equipment from the time of possession to the time of return. The renter assumes the entire risk of loss or damage, regardless of cause. If items are lost, stolen, or damaged, the renter will assume the cost of replacement or repair, including labor costs and materials.


When a customer pays for services with a credit card (requiring no signature), checks, money orders, or cash, the customer acknowledges that the terms and conditions of this service agreement apply completely.

Ted's Container Refund Policy

All refunds from services that have been paid for are subject to approval. Any work performed on any paid service will be subject to fuel and labor costs as well as material costs. To ensure a full refund or avoid any charges, please call our office at 816-293-3199 ext. #3 a day before any service or job is to be completed. If you are unsatisfied with any services performed, please call our office so that we may resolve the issue.


As the customer, you are accepting services from Ted's Trash Service Inc. and agree that damage may occur due to the weight and operation of the trucks or containers and that Ted's Trash Service Inc. is not liable for any such damage. Customers are responsible for scheduling the removal to avoid rental fees. Should the container sit longer than the provided rental time, there is a $20 per day rental fee. 10 yd (7 days or less rental), 20 yd., 30 yd., and 40 yd. (14 days or less rental).


Please make sure the container is no more than level full when called in for removal or an empty and return service.


Overweight fees are $50 per ton over the specified tonnage: 10 yd., 20 yd., 30 yd., and 40 yd. (3 tons). NO crushing or compacting companies are allowed. The customer and/or crushing company will be held liable for any damages to equipment. NO HAZARDOUS WASTE! NO TIRES! ($50 ea.) When services are paid with any form of payment (requiring no signature), the customer acknowledges that the terms and conditions of this agreement apply.
